The plan.

It's spring, I've lost some weight (again) and I feel good. So naturally, my mind turns to... running.

I am going to keep a log of weight and running. I am also going to build a running plan for the rest of the year.

Plan. Incremental progress. I am going to the gym tonight (3/31) with a plan to see how far I can run at an 8 minute pace on a treadmill. I am guessing about 1/4 mile.

Based on that guess, This will be my plan going forward.

04/02/2015 -  .50 miles @ 8 min/mile , 3 miles total (2 walk/ 1 run)
** Actual: Ran total of 1.25 miles, walked about 3 miles. Ran .4 miles @ 8 m/m.
** Weight 240. I have lost 48 lbs since Jan 1.

04/09/2015 -  .75 miles @ 8 min/mile , 3 miles total (1.5 walk/ 1.5 run): Weight 238

04/16/2015 - 1.00 miles @ 8 min/mile  , 3 miles total (1 walk/ 2 run): Weight 236

04/23/2015 - 1.25 miles @ 8 min/mile  , 3 miles total (1 walk/ 2 run): Weight 234

04/30/2015 - 1.50 miles @ 8 min/mile  , 3 miles total (1 walk/ 2 run): Weight 232

05/07/2015 - 1.75 miles @ 8 min/mile  , 3 miles total (1 walk/ 2 run): Weight 230

05/14/2015 - 2.00 miles @ 8 min/mile  , 3 miles total (1 walk/ 2 run): Weight 228

05/21/2015 - 2.50 miles @ 8 min/mile  , 3 miles total (.5 walk/ 2.5 run): Weight 226

05/28/2015 - 3.00 miles @ 8 min/mile  , 3 miles total : Weight 225

06/07/2015 - 5k !!!!!!!!  @ 8 min/mile  , 3.1 miles total: Weight 225

07/01/2015 - 4.00 miles @ 8 min/mile  , 4 miles total: Weight 220 
08/01/2015 - 4.50 miles @ 8 min/mile  , 4.50 miles total: Weight 215
09/01/2015 - 6.00 miles @ 8 min/mile  , 12 mile/wk: Weight 210
10/01/2015 - 7.00 miles @ 8 min/mile  , 15 mile/wk: Weight 205
11/01/2015 - 8.00 miles @ 8 min/mile  , 20 mile/wk: Weight 200

12/13/2015 - 13.1 miles @ 8 min/mile , 25 mile/wk: Weight 200

8 * 26.2 = 209 min, 36 seconds = 3 hr 29 mn 36 sec
